Élevée Movie Night: Knives Out Wednesday, November 18 · 7 PM · 2 Dartmouth Street When celebrated mystery novelist Harlan Thrombey is found dead the morning after his 85th birthday party, the prime suspects are the people who were in the house: his wealthy, squabbling, wonderfully dreadful family. Enter Benoit Blanc, a languid Southern detective with a theatrical flair, hired by an anonymous client to unravel what really happened. Every Thrombey has a motive, every alibi has a crack, and nothing in that house is quite what it seems. Rian Johnson’s 2019 whodunit is a sharp, funny, beautifully styled take on the classic country-house mystery, with a cast to match: Daniel Craig, Ana de Armas, Chris Evans, Jamie Lee Curtis, Toni Collette and more. It’s also the coziest sweater-weather film we know, so pull on your best cable knit (Chris Evans set the bar). As always, complimentary drinks and snacks are on us, and guests enjoy 10% off in-store purchases that evening. Seating is intimate and our last screening sold out, so grab your ticket early. Come for the film. Stay for the conversation.
