Infinite Careers - Sabrina Rubin

Sabrina Rubin has had a multi-hyphenate career that stems from her varied interests. She entered her undergraduate years at MIT as a mathematics major, with the intention of becoming a doctor and writer. After changing majors first to biology and then to anthropology, she switched her focus to narrative. While she pursued an MFA in Film from USC, she continued working at her family’s educational enrichment company, eventually choosing to pursue a certificate in Independent Educational Consulting from UC Irvine to better help her clients. Since graduation she has been balancing her work as an author, freelance editor and educational consultant. She has also added a new hyphen by guiding her two children through their homeschool education and leading a year-long study of California History through group field trips in Los Angeles.
