Office of Energy Transformation Community Meeting

Join us to learn about the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs’ Office of Energy Transformation (OET) and its work to accelerate the Commonwealth’s energy transformation. The conversation will explore OET’s efforts to advance the gas-to-electric transition, prepare the electric grid for Massachusetts’ climate and clean energy goals, decarbonize peak electricity demand, and support an affordable and just transition for workers, businesses, and communities. We will also discuss how these statewide efforts connect with municipal energy policy, infrastructure decisions, and long-term planning. Attendees can connect with others interested in clean energy and public service, learn how state and local planning intersect, and hear about the Fellowship offered through the Clean Energy & Environmental Legacy Transition Program, co-sponsored by UMass Lowell and Boston University. Please arrive 5–10 minutes early. Parking is available at the Center Garage, bicycle parking is available for those who bring a lock, and the location is accessible via the Green Line to Medford/Tufts.
