Long Island, New York Social Event for Christians

Join us for an afternoon of fishing fellowship and fun with other local Christians in Long Island! Come slow down and spend a relaxed fall afternoon with us by the water at Sandspit Marina! We’re gathering for an easygoing afternoon of fishing, crabbing, conversation, laughter, and fellowship with absolutely no fishing experience required. Whether you love dropping a line in the water or would much rather pull up a chair, enjoy the view, and chat with new friends, there’s a place for you. Attendees are welcome to bring fishing poles, bait, crab cages, chairs, snacks, drinks, or anything else that will make your afternoon comfortable. Fishing and crabbing are completely optional. You do not need equipment or experience to join us! While we’re together, we’ll also spend some time assembling Halloween treat bags filled with candy and Christian tracts/messages sharing the love, hope, and good news of Jesus. Halloween gives us a unique opportunity to have people come right to our doors, and we want to use that opportunity to offer a little more than candy. All of the supplies for assembling the outreach bags will be provided. Anyone who would like to participate can take completed bags home and hand them out to trick-or-treaters on Halloween! Come meet someone new. Bring a friend. Sit by the water. Try your hand at fishing or crabbing. Help us pack a few treat bags. Laugh, talk, and enjoy the beauty of a fall afternoon surrounded by community.
