Meet The Artists Night | Long Island Public Arts Festival at Heckscher Park

The 2026 festival finale! Meet the exhibiting artists, live original music on the museum steps, and a look inside the Heckscher Museum. About This Event Join us at Heckscher Park for the season finale of the 2026 Long Island Public Arts Festival — an evening dedicated to the artists featured in our Huntington exhibition, with live original music on the steps of The Heckscher Museum of Art. After three months across Babylon, Deer Park and Huntington, LIPAF wraps up on the North Shore with a golden-hour reception in partnership with the Huntington Chamber of Commerce and The Heckscher Museum of Art. Walk the park, view the 6ft x 6ft outdoor installations, meet the artists behind them, and stay for the music. Exhibiting Artist Recognition: Connect directly with the artists featured at Heckscher Park and hear about their work, with a formal acknowledgment inside the museum. Live Original Music on the Museum Steps: Four New York solo musicians, each playing a 15-minute set of their own songs — Tania Wilk, Maidin, Brendan Bartow and mazi. Open-Air Gallery Walk: The Huntington installation stays up through November 1 — this is the last evening to see it with the artists present. Inside the Museum: The evening closes with the opportunity to view Eclipse of the Sun Now at The Heckscher Museum of Art. Community Connection: Mingle with fellow arts supporters, neighbors and festival partners. Light bites and refreshments will be available. This event is free, family-friendly, and open to all ages. While tickets are not required for entry into the park, please RSVP on Eventbrite so we can prepare an accurate headcount for host planning! Partners & Support Presented by Colored Colors and BACCA (Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts), in partnership with the Huntington Chamber of Commerce and The Heckscher Museum of Art, with support from the Suffolk County Office of Cultural Affairs (SCOCA).
