Stratford Point Beach Cleanup

Join the SCSU Coastal Resilience program for a fun morning helping clean up the beach. This event is open to anyone! Join the Our Beach Cleanup at Stratford Point 🌊 Join the Southern Connecticut State University Coastal Resilience Program for a morning of coastal stewardship at Stratford Point! We'll work together to remove marine debris and litter from the shoreline while helping care for this important coastal environment. This event if open to anyone, whether you are part of the SCSU community or not. Please invite your friends to join, there is lots of trash, so the more help the better! All cleanup supplies will be provided, and participants will receive free Coastal Resilience gloves to use during the event and keep afterward. Please wear long pants and close-toed shoes for your safety, and dress appropriately for the weather. Free parking is available at Stratford Point Audubon, though carpooling is encouraged. If transportation is a concern, please reach out and we'll do our best to help. This cleanup is also an opportunity to learn more about ongoing coastal restoration and resilience efforts at Stratford Point in collaboration with Connecticut Audubon.
