The Mansion's 2026 Holiday Open House

Enchanting trees, holiday displays, a special visit from Santa Claus and his loyal elf, and the Mansion's Pop Up Café. The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum invites the community to an afternoon of family fun and holiday wonder! The event will feature the museum’s festive seasonal décor, enchanting trees, and holiday displays. Guests can tour the Holiday Exhibit, Unwrapping Christmas Past: From Puritans to Pop Culture, which offers a historical look at seasonal traditions and serves as an unforgettable backdrop for holiday selfies and family portraits. A highlight of the afternoon will be a special visit from Santa Claus and his loyal elf. From 12:00–2:00 p.m. they will spend their time greeting children and listening to Christmas wishes before heading back to the North Pole. Throughout the festivities, the Mansion’s Pop-up Café will be open to visitors, offering complimentary refreshments. All proceeds from the event will benefit the museum's educational and cultural programs.
