Trick or Treating & Scavenger Hunt in Port Jefferson Village

Bring the kids to Port Jefferson Village for an afternoon of trick or treating and a Halloween scavenger hunt at participating businesses! Halloween in Port Jefferson Village is back! After the success of last year’s Trick or Treating, local businesses are welcoming families again—and this year, we’re adding a Halloween scavenger hunt. Dress up, bring your treat bags, and explore the village together. Look for the Trick or Treat sign in participating businesses’ windows to find your candy stops. Families can also follow the scavenger hunt map to visit participating shops and search for clues along the way. It’s a fun way for kids and parents to enjoy Halloween while discovering the businesses that make Port Jefferson Village special. Saturday, October 31, 2026 11 AM–5 PM Throughout Port Jefferson Village Free and open to families A list of participating businesses and scavenger hunt details will be shared closer to the event. Children should be accompanied by an adult. Costumes are encouraged!
