Let's celebrate SC's rich literary heritage, diverse narratives & unique regional perspectives while also exploring & connecting the world. The South Carolina Council of Teachers of English invites educators, researchers, literacy advocates, and South Carolinian authors the 2027 SCCTE annual conference. This year's theme, South Carolina Voices and Beyond, celebrates the rich literary heritage, diverse narratives, and unique regional perspectives found within our state, while also exploring how we connect our students to the wider world. Our conference will include keynote speakers, sessions, and exhibitors that examine local storytelling, regional folklore, and diverse Southern experiences, as well as those that push classroom horizons toward global literature, digital literacy, and innovative pedagogical practices.
