Stop by Saturday, September 26th from 11am–3pm as the Coastal Cupboard crew slings woodfired pizzas and shares the techniques, tips, and tricks behind making great pizza at home. This is a casual, drop-in event, so come when you can, grab a taste, watch the ovens in action, and stay as long as you’d like. Throughout the afternoon, we’ll walk through the pizza-making process from homemade dough to the finished pie. We’ll talk about making and working with homemade pizza dough, properly stretching it without tearing it, managing your oven and cooking temperatures, and getting the crust and toppings cooked just right. We’ll also experiment with creative topping combinations and share some of the little tricks that can make a big difference in your finished pizza. And with football season here, we’ll be talking about pizza for a crowd—including ways to prep ahead, keep pizzas moving, and make your pizza oven the center of your next game-day gathering. Have a pizza question you’ve been trying to figure out? Bring it! This is a great opportunity to talk pizza, ovens, dough, technique, and entertaining with the Coastal Cupboard crew.
