FULL TIME: A Solo Exhibition by Demetrius Bing

Join us for the opening night of FULL TIME, artist Demetrius Bing’s third solo exhibition, at Public Works Art Center in Summerville. You’re invited to the opening night of FULL TIME, a solo exhibition by Charleston artist Demetrius Bing. FULL TIME is the third show in Demetrius’s FULL exhibition series, following Full Circle and Full Spectrum. It’s a personal look at his journey as an artist: the time invested, the obstacles overcome, and the belief that creativity deserves a permanent place in our lives. At the heart of the show is a simple message: never lose the part of yourself that believed anything was possible. Or, as Demetrius puts it, the kid still works here. What you’ll see: • New original paintings • Select works created for Netflix’s Outer Banks • A dedicated presentation of the Flower Series • Photographs and milestones from Demetrius’s journey Join us for an evening celebrating art, resilience, imagination, and the beauty of becoming. Demetrius will be there, and we’d love to see you. Can’t make opening night? FULL TIME is on view at Public Works Art Center through January 16, 2027.
