MEDICINE - Alchemy + Plant Ally

Explore cacao as alchemy + a nourishing plant ally - learn to pair it with herbs, spices, teas, and other sacred foods to elevate + inspire. MEDICINE — Cacao as Alchemy + Plant Ally We’ll explore cacao as both nourishment and plant medicine in honor of indeginous peoples of the Americas. Discover the nourishment found within each and every cacao bean. Cacao is naturally rich in minerals and plant compounds that can support energy, mood, circulation, and a sense of well-being. Through hands-on preparation, we’ll learn how cacao can be thoughtfully combined with herbs, spices, teas, and other sacred foods to create nourishing drinks for everyday use. Together, we’ll explore the art of botanical alchemy—the intentional blending of plants to transform a simple cup of cacao into a layered preparation with its own flavor, energy, and purpose. We’ll consider how warming spices, calming herbs, floral notes, roots, and traditional teas can complement cacao and one another. Participants will taste, blend, and create their own cacao preparation while learning practical ways to bring cacao into a personal wellness or ritual practice. Medicine invites us to experience cacao not only as chocolate, but as a living plant ally—one that can nourish the body, awaken the senses, and deepen our relationship with the plant world. Our Counsel Conclusion class will leave you feeling inspired + heart opened with lots of wonderful ways to include cacao into your daily life.
