Through Casting for a Cause, we are proud to give back to the Lowcountry community that means so much to us. Building on the generosity and support shown in previous years, the Meggett Shootout is expanding its reach to support local families in need, as well as organizations that create meaningful outdoor experiences and opportunities for children, including those facing illness or disabilities. At the heart of the Meggett Shootout is a shared love of the outdoors and a belief in taking care of our neighbors. Whether through fishing, recreation, conservation, or simply lending a hand when it’s needed most, we want this tournament to make a lasting difference right here in our community. Every sponsorship, tournament entry, raffle purchase, silent auction bid, and donation helps make that possible. By supporting the Meggett Shootout you’re helping us cast a wider net of support throughout the Lowcountry. 💙 CONTINUING OUR SUPPORT Last year, our community came together through the Meggett Shootout and Casting for a Cause to support the Wilson family following the loss of Chris—a husband, father, friend, and neighbor who meant so much to so many. The generosity shown to Jill, Ellie, and Colt was an incredible reminder of what makes this community so special. And while another year has passed, our support for the Wilson family has not. This year, as Casting for a Cause grows to help additional families and local organizations that provide outdoor opportunities for children, we are proud to continue supporting the Wilson family as part of that mission. The Meggett Shootout has always been about more than fishing. It’s about neighbors helping neighbors, showing up when it matters, and taking care of the people who make our community home. Thank you to every angler, sponsor, donor, volunteer, and supporter who helps us continue that tradition. We cast our lines. We give back. We take care of our own. 🏆 SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES Businesses and individuals can also support the tournament through sponsorships.
