2nd Annual Silk, Satin, & Velvet Brunch

Join BGT for our 2nd Annual Silk, Satin, & Velvet Brunch! Charlotte, it’s time to get dressed and get OUTSIDE! 🖤 Black Girl Thriving presents The 2nd Annual Silk, Satin & Velvet Brunch, an afternoon created for Black women to eat, sip, socialize, connect, and enjoy some damn good vibes. Join us at Folia on Sunday, November 8th from 1–3 PM for an elevated fall brunch experience featuring music by DJ PiQasso, hosted by Taris Unscripted, and of course, the kind of energy and community that only BGT can produce. Your General Admission ticket includes entry to the event and complimentary brunch bites while supplies last. Additional food, cocktails, and beverages will be available for purchase directly from Folia throughout the event. And YES we expect you to come dressed like you have somewhere to be. 😂 Think silk. Satin. Velvet. Rich fall colors. Textures. Layers. Statement pieces. Whether you’re giving soft and feminine, bold and sexy, or fall fashion baddie - we want you to PUT THAT SHHHH ON, SISTAAAAA! 🍂✨ Come alone. Bring your homegirl. Meet somebody new. Take pictures. Have a drink. Eat something good. Dance a little. Laugh a lot. This isn’t your average sit-down brunch. WE OUTSIDE. 🖤 📍 Folia 1449 S Tryon St #102 Charlotte, NC 28203 📅 Sunday, November 8, 2026 ⏰ 1:00 PM–3:00 PM All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable.
