About this event
explore physical & chemical changes through exciting reaction experiments Step into the lab and investigate the chemistry happening all around—and inside—us! Students will explore physical and chemical changes, dive into biochemistry, and discover how carbohydrates, bile, and enzymes interact through hands-on investigations. Middle & High School students will also extract DNA from strawberries and explore how genetics help determine our unique traits. Activities will be appropriately adapted for each grade band, giving younger students accessible, interactive ways to explore big ideas while older students take on deeper investigations into chemistry, biology, and the reactions that make life possible. Likely schedule: • Drop off at CORC 9am • 9-10am light open-flow activities • 10-10:15 snack time and movement experiences • 10:15-11:30 structured activity time • 11:30-12:00 lunch • 12:00-12:30 movement experiences • 12:30-1:00 individual study or small group work • 1:00pm: Student pick-up OR optional 1:00 - 3:00 Talent Lounge (upcharge event)
