American Motherhood Tour: Film Screening of No Country for Mothers

Join Women Advancing and Women United for a screening of No Country for Mothers, exploring the truth about motherhood. No Country for Mothers follows activist Reshma Saujani as she uncovers why labels like "girl boss" and "trad wife" distract from the real issue: the lack of structural support for moms and families. The film digs into how we got here and why this moment presents a real opportunity to demand something better. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Jenny Lynn Walding, Founder of Milkmade, Doreen Bonnet, Executive Director of Birth Sisters of Charlottesville, Rebecca Berlin, Member of the Albemarle County School Board, and local stay-at-home mom Kristin Longhauser Smith. It will be moderated by Angilee Shah, CEO & Editor in Chief of Charlottesville Tomorrow.
