Cookies Without Compromise: Baking for Everyone

In this class, you’ll learn how to cook for those in your family (or yourself!) who have dietary restrictions. The class focuses on making the most delicious cookies using an almond flour blend, with the flexibility to make them vegan, keto and/or gluten free. Baking for everyone requires some tips and tricks which will be covered during class sessions. From cookies and cakes to muffins, this has been perfected across 10 years of study and experimentation to create the outcome of delicious baked goods with a healthy twist. Each person will receive Ms Patti Cakes’s cookie mix to make your own cookies after class, and of course, plenty of freshly baked samples in class! Handouts will be given for keeping what you will learn in class for easy access after the session ends. About the teacher: Patricia Igoe started Ms Patti Cakes after her grandson was diagnosed with celiac disease. After that diagnosis, her daughter was tested and found out she had both celiac and Hashimoto’s as well. Eating for them became a huge challenge and to this day continues to be one of their hardest daily tasks. As a result, Patricia created a gluten free and low sugar baking mix to ensure her family could continue to eat delicious treats.
