Fall Tienda Tour

Explore Chattanooga's tiendas • Connect • Taste • Learn ️ 🍂 Join the Chattanooga Food Coalition for a Fall Tienda Tour on Thursday, October 22nd at 6:00 PM! 🌮💜 This special CFC gathering will take us into a few of Chattanooga’s local tiendas and Latin markets to learn more about the important role these businesses play in our local food system. Together, we’ll explore how tiendas serve their communities, discover the foods and resources available in these markets, and build connections with local businesses and fellow food-system advocates. 🌮 What to Expect • Visit local tiendas and Latin markets in the Chattanooga area • Learn about the role these businesses play in food access and community connection • Discover new foods, products, and local resources • Hear directly from local business owners and community members • Connect with other Chattanooga Food Coalition members and partners • Enjoy a fun evening of food, conversation, and exploration! 🍂 💜 Why a Tienda Tour? Food access is about more than where food is available — it’s also about culture, community, affordability, accessibility, and the places people already trust and shop. This tour is an opportunity to learn from and celebrate local businesses while expanding our understanding of Chattanooga’s diverse food system. Whether you’re a longtime CFC member or joining us for the first time, we’d love to have you along! 📅 Thursday, October 22, 2026 ⏰ 6:00 PM 📍 Meeting Point: El Sol Supermarcado, 1906 S Highland Park Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404 Come curious, bring your appetite, and join us as we explore Chattanooga’s food system together! 🌮🍂💜
