The David Show: Characters Come to Life

TikTok creator David McDaniel brings his viral-style healthcare characters off the screen and onto the stage for live comedy and chaos. THE CHARACTERS FROM THE VIDEOS ARE COMING TO LIFE. If you’ve seen David McDaniel’s comedy skits on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram or YouTube, you’ve probably met some of them already. The nurse every CNA knows, the family member who barely visits but somehow knows EVERYTHING, and the personalities that make working in healthcare completely chaotic. Now they’re stepping out of the videos and onto a live stage. On October 17, David will begin as himself, but throughout the night, the characters from his online skits will take over the show. You’ll watch the videos that introduced them, then David will transform into those characters and bring them out LIVE. And this isn’t just a normal comedy show. The audience gets to talk to the characters. Ask them questions. Give them situations. Call them out. Let them explain themselves. David will answer completely in character, meaning some of the funniest moments of the night won’t be scripted at all. Expect live character appearances, comedy skits, audience Q&As, improvisation, behind-the-scenes transformations, and plenty of moments that could only happen in the room. You do not have to work in healthcare to enjoy the show. But if you’re a CNA, nurse, caregiver, healthcare worker, or you’ve ever dealt with one of those family members, there’s a very good chance you’re going to recognize somebody. You’ve watched them online. Now come meet them in person.
