One thing birds share in common: they're not so easy to photograph–they don't pose where you want them to and it's often tricky to get close enough to photograph them. Kensington Metropark offers plentiful opportunity to capture birds in a natural setting. This small group walk is the perfect opportunity to get out into the field, meet fellow photographers, and practice your bird photography skills! There will not be a formal educational presentation for this event. What do I need to bring? • Camera • Telephoto Lens - Highly Recommended (contact us for a consulation!) • Charged Batteries • Extra Memory Cards • Bug Spray (optional, but recommended) 📷 Rental Perk We are offering 50% off rentals (for the event weekend) for registered attendees! The 50% discount applies to a camera and/or lens rental that is picked up within the dates of Friday, September 18th through Monday, September 21st. Regular rental terms and conditions apply. Event registration must be confirmed prior to finalizing the booking. You will receive a rental code in your confirmation email to book online. The Location This photowalk takes place at Kensington Metro Park. Our precise meeting point will be sent in your confirmation email. Admission to the park is $10 per vehicle for a daily pass or $40 for an annual pass. If you're 62 or older, there is a senior discount available.
