Celebration of Martin-Beland-Miller Memorial Woods- Lenawee County, MI

A community hike to commemorate the induction of Martin-Beland-Miller Memorial Woods into the Old-Growth Forest Network. Join the Old-Growth Forest Network, and Michigan Nature Association staff in celebrating the induction of Martin-Beland-Miller Memorial Woods into the national Old-Growth Forest Network. Participants will learn about the history of the property, management practices, forest ecology, and old-growth forest characteristics. Navigate to Indian Creek Camp and Conference Center and cross the bridge over the ditch and follow signs to the sanctuary. Attendees will park and gather at the parking lot at the end of Martin Road.
