Awe-Full Walk in the Woods

Refresh your spirit and renew your perspective with an immersive 90 minutes in nature. Finding awe and a sense of wonder in the world around you builds resilience that helps you through hard times. This immersive, intentional, soulful walk in the woods will help you do just that that. Move your body, breathe in the fresh air, take in the sights, sounds, and scents of Linne Woods, celebrate the life-giving power of the natural world, and make new friends in a small-group setting. Studies indicate that time in nature helps restore attention and alleviate stress in addition to improving moods and self-regulation. Past participants of this program agree! Adults only, please. Dress for the weather, including muddy trails. We will gather at the far north end of the parking lot. Be aware that we will be walking 1-2 miles over uneven, unpaved terrain. Conditions may be muddy and slippery. Sunscreen, tick and mosquito prevention recommended! Bring your Epipen is you experience extreme reactions to insect bites. Nature is full of surprises, so understand that you are taking on an assumption of risk when you participate in this program.
