Business Safety Meeting

Join local business owners and community leaders for a proactive Public Business Safety Meeting hosted by the Albany Park Chamber of Commerce, the North River Commission, Alderwoman Rossana Rodríguez-Sánchez’s 33rd Ward Office, and the 17th Police District. As we approach the busy holiday season, this gathering brings together law enforcement, city officials, and local support organizations to equip store owners with practical tools, strategies, and neighborhood resources. What to Expect: • Safety & Crime Prevention: Updates from the 17th District Police Department on proactive store protection, loss prevention, and seasonal safety measures. • Community & Mental Health Support: Direct access to crisis response teams and local mental health organizations offering business support options. • City & Ward Assistance: Insights on local services and small business navigation from the 33rd Ward Office. • Open Q&A Panel: An open dialogue to share challenges, ask questions, and collaborate directly with key stakeholders on neighborhood safety solutions. Connect 1-on-1 with local service providers and community partners before and after the panel discussion. Light refreshments will be provided! RSVP requested to help us accurately plan seating and refreshments. We look forward to seeing you there!
