Celebrating culture, heritage, and community through burlesque and performance art. This BIPOC/LGBTQ only burlesque show will highlight culture, community, heritage and liberation through the erotic. With inspiration by October observances like Dia de los muertos, Filipino heritage month, hoodoo heritage month, Halloween and Diwali ; we encourage audience members to wear some sort of cultural dress to celebrate their community, tribe, ancestors, culture , tradition! Represent your people! “Exotic erotic” is reclaiming our connection to our heritages while exploring freedom through sex, sensuality and self-acceptance through burlesque, storytelling, traditional and modern cultural performance. Please be advised: The Newport Theater is up a flight of stairs with no elevator, but access to a Genesis portable mobile stairlift (rated up to 400 pounds) is available. Please email [email protected] advance of your arrival to coordinate entry and sign a waiver (required by our landlord). There are four single-stall non-gendered restrooms available onsite.
