Join members of the Illinois Chapter Black Panther Party Movement and Justice Gallery: Billy “Che” Brooks former Former Deputy Minister of Education for the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party, Helen Shiller, Jack Hart, and John Preston for a powerful roundtable discussion with the community. Together, they will reflect on what was done, what was learned, and what those lessons mean for our communities today. The conversation will explore the work, organizing, and community-centered efforts of the past while creating space to ask an important question: What can we do now? This conversation invites community members to listen, share their own experiences, ask questions, and discuss practical ways to build on the legacy of community action, mutual support, and collective responsibility.
