Full description from organizerShow less
Pianist/vocalist Bradley Williams cut his teeth as a Grammy-nominated performer and arranger with Woody Herman's Thundering Herd. His Original 21st Century Review jazz variety show toured the Middle East and Asia, and his most recent Quartet CD, "The Saga of Le Piano," is being released in the Fall of 2026. His partnership with Shara Maxwell features vocal duets and original songs. Shara Maxwell blends timeless influences with her mystical, sultry sound. She brings classic songs to life with a freshness that feels both inviting and exhilarating. Everything old is new again. The duo's refreshing material includes amusing (and sometimes rare) works by Gershwin, Porter, David Frishberg, Billie Holiday and Cy Coleman. Comedian Carly Schirber will start off the evening with her fast-talking, smart, and chaotic style. Likened to "watching Gilmore Girls... you only understand 90% of it, but it's comforting nonetheless."
