Labor Support Training for Fathers

This training prepares expectant fathers to stand in the role of the doula, teaching them the skills to navigate labor confidently alongside their pregnant partners. In this training session, we will be: Discussing nutrition basics How to prepare for labor How to identify and move through early labor into active labor Laboring at home/when to go to the hospital or birth center Comfort measures/How to provide support during the early postpartum period. We will also have a somatic movement and sound bowl experience by Lotus Love. When fathers are involved in the perinatal process, maternal and infant health outcomes improve. Research has shown that a father's presence can help reduce maternal stress and depression, as well as support breastfeeding success.
