As the Darling children maneuver through adventure, pirates, testy fairies, and an ever-so-cocky Peter Pan, they begin to grapple with the thinning veil between playing pretend and a dangerous reality. This hauntingly playful adaptation suggests that the greatest adventure lies much closer than the second star to the right.
