queer quilting studio (Saturday Morning Cohort)

Four Saturday morning sessions of spacious studio time to progress your quilting projects. Supplies and individual instruction provided. WORKSHOP DATES: DECEMBER 5, 12, 19, JANUARY 2 (11am-1pm) *at our new location 7067 N Glenwood Quilt-curious queers! This workshop series is a chance to work on a longer-term quilting project of your choice, with individual instruction from Eliza and support and feedback from your queer-quilting peers. We meet Saturday mornings for four sessions. You can come to this studio practice with no experience at all or years of experience. You can bring in-progress projects and your own supplies, or show up empty handed with a few ideas in mind. Shared sewing machines, fabric and notions are all provided with plenty of space to spread out and make something big. Registration for this class includes the four sessions. Life happens and you might not make all of them- if you are unable to make it to any sessions you registered for, the class fee remains the same. The studio is located in a sunny open room four steps down from street level. We have a cozy tea and coffee setup and you can take off your shoes and bring slippers if you are so inclined! Masking is required and KN95 masks are provided if you forget yours. Please arrive on time or a little early so we can make the most of the morning together.
