We'll simplify the process and walk you through what you need, what can wait, where to find legitimate opportunities, how submissions and auditions work, and how to become industry-ready. You don't necessarily need an agent to begin. We'll show you how families can start exploring opportunities on their own and explain where professional representation fits into the journey. There are many excellent opportunities to learn from casting directors, agents and other industry professionals, whose workshops and programs can offer valuable insight from their side of the business. Our workshop comes from a different seat in the process—the perspective of actors and a family actually navigating the journey. We share what we've learned from living the process: preparing auditions, self-taping, submitting, communicating with representation, managing expectations, making mistakes, facing rejection, celebrating the wins and continuing to show up. We didn't begin with a perfect roadmap, and we learned many lessons the hard way. This workshop is the practical guidance we wish we'd had when we started—designed to help you approach the journey with greater clarity, preparation and the right mindset.
