Join us for an exciting after-school program where history comes alive through fun, hands-on activities! In partnership with the Oconee History Museum, this six-session series invites kids to step back in time and learn about traditional skills practiced by our ancestors. From yarn spinning and blacksmithing to homesteading and navigation, each class offers a unique opportunity to explore how things were done in the past. Through engaging, interactive lessons, children will gain a deeper appreciation for history and the craftsmanship of earlier times, all while creating their own projects and discovering the rich heritage of our community. Meets on Thursdays from 9/10, 9/17, 9/24, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22 Recommended for ages 9-13
