On Friday, October 9th at 7 pm, the Capitol Theatre in Gordon Square will host a special screening of the award-winning feature documentary, All Our Yesterdays. A live Q&A with Director Breege Rowley will follow the show. A visually rich and moving documentary, All Our Yesterdays chronicles 250 years of Swinford, County Mayo, capturing the town’s resilience and evolution, from the devastation of the Great Famine to its vibrant cultural revival. The film blends archival footage, personal stories, and music. You can attend the movie AND support the IAAS effort to document Cleveland immigrant stories by buying documentary tickets, packaged with Irishtown Bend prints at discounted prices. Irishtown Bend prints are fine art reproductions on high quality paper of an original art work by local artist Timothy Callaghan. Sales benefit the Irishtown Bend research efforts of IAAS. Tickets and prints will be held for pick-up at a table in the Capitol Theatre lobby on October 9. We’ll also be selling prints at the table at full price that evening ($100/65/35). We've added an option for those who want to ADD one or more additional movie tickets to your order. A transaction fee will apply to the additional movie ticket order but not to the ticket and print order. It's possible that the documentary may sell out, so don't delay in getting your tickets.
