Junk Journal Workshop

Learn how to transform repurposed materials, paper scraps, and everyday ephemera into a handmade, one-of-a-kind keepsake book. Exploring junk journaling as a sustainable, rule-free, and mindful art practice that values texture, imperfection, and tactile storytelling over perfection. Gathering and upcycling items like old book pages, magazines, sheet music, maps, ticket stubs, grocery receipts, packaging, fabric scraps, and shipping tags. Combining collage, rubber stamping, acrylic paints, ink pads, and handwritten notes or prompts. Designing functional components like secret pockets, fold-out flips, belly bands, and tag inserts using old envelopes or paper bags.
