The Score: The Fugees

Experience The Fugees through live poetry, vinyl, art, and interactive activities celebrating music as a refuge. The Score: The Fugees At moCa, we believe art can be a place of refuge—a space to find connection, express yourself, and see your own story reflected in culture. That idea is at the heart of The Score: The Fugees, an evening inspired by the music and legacy of one of hip-hop’s most influential groups. The Fugees: Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, and Pras Michel, described themselves as “refugees,” reflecting their shared search for escape, sanctuary, and a place to belong. Through music, they found that refuge in one another and created a sound that continues to resonate decades later.
