This class is free, craft kits and snacks will be provided, and you’ll leave with both projects to enjoy at home. Space is limited, so registration is required. You’ll create two projects to take home: • A handmade felt sushi set featuring a sushi roll, ginger, wasabi and soy sauce • A painted wooden Colorado ornament While we craft, Kat will use the Sushi PITI Roll to explain the ingredients that may make up a monthly home payment: • Rice represents principal • Soy sauce represents interest • Crunchy vegetables represent property taxes • The seaweed wrap represents homeowners insurance • Ginger and wasabi represent possible additional costs, such as HOA dues and mortgage insurance We’ll also talk about why the amount you qualify for and the monthly payment that feels comfortable aren’t always the same—and what questions you can begin asking before you’re ready to buy. Heidi will guide you through creating your Colorado ornament and share how a Realtor can help you explore your priorities, timeline and next steps when homeownership begins to feel possible.
