Live Stand-Up COMEDY at The Tokyo Club - The Return of DAN WEST!

Army vet Dan West—aka “Captain America with a drinking problem”—brings his sharp, cynical storytelling & nostalgic riffs to The Tokyo Club!! This Veterans Day, come celebrate with someone who knows the real story behind the uniform. Dan West is a U.S. Army veteran whose military career was cut short by deployment injuries. Instead of letting that define him, he turned the chaos, the absurdity, and the hard-earned perspective into comedy. Now he travels the country as a road comic delivering sharp, cynical storytelling packed with nostalgic references, self-deprecating honesty, and just enough chaos to keep you leaning forward in your seat. Known as “Captain America with a drinking problem,” Dan mixes grit and wit in a way that feels less like a performance and more like hanging out with the funniest (and most slightly unhinged) friend you know. He’ll talk military life, failed jobs, cats who act like they pay rent, whiskey decisions that may or may not have been good ideas, and the kind of everyday absurdity that only someone who’s been through it can make hilarious. You’ll laugh, you’ll relate, and you’ll walk away feeling like you’ve known him for years. Whether you’re a veteran yourself, love someone who served, or just want to spend the evening with real stories and real laughs, this is the perfect way to honor the day. Join us at The Tokyo Club as we celebrate Veterans Day the best way we know how—by packing the room, raising a glass, and letting Dan West remind us that sometimes the best therapy is a mic, a stage, and a room full of people who get it. Come celebrate with us. The stories are worth it.
