In this relaxed, hands-on setting, you’ll learn the fundamentals of crafting sushi from scratch—from preparing perfectly seasoned sushi rice to selecting fresh ingredients and mastering simple, reliable rolling techniques. With Chef Z’s step-by-step guidance, you’ll build confidence while creating delicious, beautifully rolled sushi. What You’ll Make: You’ll prepare two sushi rolls and one hand roll, learning classic rolling methods while exploring ingredient balance, flavor, and presentation. Throughout the class, you’ll practice proper rice handling, layering techniques, and rolling styles, with opportunities to get creative as you assemble your rolls. Whether you're looking for a unique date night, a fun outing with friends, or a social way to try something new, this class offers the perfect mix of hands-on learning and tasting. All tools and ingredients are provided! No experience necessary! Our classes are casual, approachable, and designed to make sushi making fun for everyone—whether you’re an enthusiastic home cook or a first-timer just looking to enjoy the experience. Your workstation will be fully prepped so you can focus on rolling, tasting, and having a great time. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. You will be seated with your booking party. Guests in the same booking will work together by sharing ingredients and equipment. Drinks are NOT included in the ticket price, but guests are welcome to BYOB (beer or wine).
