UPFAD (Unlimited Possibilities For All Disabilities) is looking for enthusiastic, compassionate, and community-minded volunteers to help make our 6th Annual All Disabilities Fall Festival an unforgettable experience! And guess what? WE'RE MOVING THE FUN INDOORS! 🎉 We're bringing our celebration to the J.H. Ross Center, where families can enjoy an afternoon filled with laughter, entertainment, community resources, and fall fun — rain or shine! 📅 Date: Sunday, November 1, 2026 🕐 Festival Hours: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM 📍 NEW LOCATION: J.H. Whether you're a student looking for community service hours, a business team wanting to give back, a community organization, or someone who simply loves helping others, THERE'S A PLACE FOR YOU! No previous experience is necessary. Just bring your positive attitude, willingness to help, and a heart for inclusion! 🙌 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES We have a variety of exciting ways for you to get involved! • 🍂 Event Setup & Breakdown: Help transform our indoor venue into a wonderful fall celebration. • 🎟️ Welcome & Registration: Greet families, check in guests, and help everyone feel welcome. • 🧡 Guest Hospitality: Assist guests and help create a positive festival experience. • 🎃 Fall Costume Contest: Help coordinate participants and support contest activities. • 🍬 Candy Giveaways: Help distribute sweet treats and spread smiles! • 🎁 Toy Giveaways: Assist with organizing and distributing toys to children. • 🎨 Face Painting Area: Help manage lines and assist our face painter. • ✏️ Caricature Artist Area: Help guests participate in this fun, FREE activity. • 🧩 Sensory-Friendly Area: Help maintain a calm, welcoming environment for guests who need a quieter space. Guidance will be provided. • 🎵 Entertainment Support: Assist with performances, activities, and stage coordination. • 🛍️ Vendor Assistance: Help vendors locate their assigned spaces and answer questions. • ♿ Accessibility Assistance: Help guests navigate the festival while respecting individual needs and independence. • 💰 Financial Literacy Session: Assist with seating, guest coordination, and speaker support. • 📍 Information Booth: Provide directions, event information, and general assistance. • 📸 Photo Area: Help families capture special memories. • 🚶 General Event Support: Be part of our flexible volunteer team wherever help is needed! 🌟 WHY VOLUNTEER WITH UPFAD? Specific arrival times, assignments, and additional instructions will be emailed before the event.
