The Patterns We Inherit An Experiential Introduction to Family Constellations & Systemic Dynamics What if some of the patterns shaping your life did not begin with you? The families and environments we grow within can influence how we experience belonging, relationships, money, success, business, identity and major life choices. Some of these patterns become valuable strengths. Others may quietly limit us or keep us responding in ways that no longer feel right. The Patterns We Inherit is a two-hour experiential introduction to Family Constellations and Systemic Dynamics, guided by Maritza Aulestia. Rather than simply listening to a lecture, you’ll be invited to reflect, participate and gently explore the patterns that may be influencing your life. What You’ll Explore Maritza will introduce three foundational systemic principles: Belonging Explore our need for connection and how experiences of inclusion or exclusion may influence our patterns. Order Consider family roles, generational dynamics and the importance of finding an appropriate place within a system. Balance of Giving and Receiving Notice how over-giving, difficulty receiving or an imbalance in reciprocity may affect relationships and results. Together, you’ll explore how these dynamics may appear in: • Love and intimate relationships • Family relationships • Money and abundance • Business and career • Success and achievement • Identity, purpose and major life choices What to Expect During this interactive experience, you’ll have an opportunity to: • Recognize how systemic patterns can become both strengths and barriers • Reflect on recurring patterns within your own life • Identify one pattern you may be ready to understand differently • Participate in a guided individual reflection • Explore insights through small-group conversation • Develop questions and curiosity for deeper personal exploration You are always welcome to share only what feels comfortable. The experience emphasizes awareness, choice and possibility—not blame, judgment or the diagnosis of family dynamics. We may not be able to change where our story began, but awareness can change what we do with what we inherited. The intention is for you to leave with greater awareness of your patterns, appreciation for the strengths they may have created, and curiosity about what could become possible when you choose a different response.
