Pillow Talkerz is a queer comedy that explores desire and consent, making conversations about sexual health more approachable through resources and representation to reduce misinformation, eradicate stigma and increase awareness. Filmmaker & educator Ms. Mary E. will lead a dialogue on tapping into your erotic imagination following the screening! What to expect: • 7:00pm: Doors open • 7:15pm: Film & filmmaker introductions • 7:30pm: Screening of Pillow Talkerz • 7:45pm: Community discussion and Q&A led by Ms. Mary E. • 8:30pm: Browse Kiss & Ride's curated selection to support in creating your own erotic! • 9:00pm: Event ends About our Partners Ms. Mary E. is a Southern interdisciplinary artist, health educator, cultural worker and femme dom. Her work captures the beauty and burden of people reimagining systems of power by exploring and exercising their autonomy. She utilizes various mediums such as film and art installations to create works that invite people to celebrate and document their lives and deaths. It is her heart’s desire that her work empowers people to release shame and live authentically. Kiss & Ride is a small queer-centered and disability inclusive sexual wellness store. It can be found inside of Liminal Space Collective in Little 5 Points, Atlanta. Kiss & Ride’s mission is to sustain a queer-centered store that provides space for sharing educational resources, art, and community. We believe Atlanta’s queer community deserves in-person access to a space where folks feel safe and comfortable learning and exploring. Charis Books is a fully wheelchair accessible space with on site van accessible parking, two ramps, and additional overflow accessible parking nearby.
