A story of faith, family, perseverance, and purpose. Join Us for The Light God Gave Me Book Launch! Join us for the official launch celebration of The Light God Gave Me, a faith-based children's book inspired by the true story of Dr. Shameka Jones. Bring the family for a special afternoon celebrating faith, family, purpose, perseverance, and the light God has placed within each of us. Guests will enjoy a petting zoo experience by Lozano Farms, inspired by the farm where Dr. Jones spent her earliest childhood days, along with children’s activities, special moments from the story, a book signing with Dr. Jones, photo opportunities, light refreshments, and more Saturday, November 14, 2026 | 2:00–5:00 PM The Villa at South Conyers This is a family-friendly event. Admission is free, but registration is required. We can't wait to celebrate this special day with you!
