Stories We Tell in the Dark: Live Storytelling at the Lawrence Barn

Lantern-lit storytelling featuring tales from across the metroplex—and one brave audience member ready to step up and share from the heart. Gather inside the historic barn at Opal Lawrence Historical Park for an evening of stories shared by lantern light. Stories We Tell in the Dark explores the tales we only tell after nightfall. The performance features storytellers from across the Metroplex—and one audience member brave enough to stand in the dark and speak from the heart. This performance is family-friendly but is best suited for audiences ages 13 and older. Restrooms are available onsite. Ticket proceeds support Historic Mesquite, Inc. and help fund future programs and events at Opal Lawrence Historical Park and Florence Ranch Homestead.
