Dallas Hip Hop artist Cure for Paranoia will headline The Echo Lounge & Music Hall?s fifth anniversary celebration show on Saturday, November 28, 2026. This will be Cure for Paranoia?s first full-band Dallas show since winning the NPR Tiny Desk Contest earlier this year. Also appearing is Damoyee. Cure for Paranoia is the Dallas hip-hop and soul collective founded by Cameron McCloud, who was placed on medication for bipolar depression and paranoid schizophrenia a decade ago - and found the music worked better. A preschool teacher by day, McCloud posted a new verse every day of 2025, and those dailies became "No Brainer," winner of NPR's 2026 Tiny Desk Contest.
