Habitat Management Vine Cutting Day at Pine Croft Meadow

Join WLT staff as we cut away the vines that have been slowly snaking their way up majestic trees. Pine Croft Meadow Preserve packs a mighty biodiversity punch in a relatively small space. A tiny creek bisects the preserve, where willow and dogwood shrubs slow the pace of the water and allow it to absorb into the ground, providing suitable habitat for wetland species. In the northwest corner of the preserve, towering white pines stand as the sentinels of the preserve, but they need our help. No experience necessary, all are welcome. Tools and snacks will be provided. Day + Time: Saturday, November 21, 2026, 10am-12pm Getting There + Parking: Pine Croft Meadow Preserve parking lot (41.291083, -73.596214).
