MLK Dayton’s 2027 “Grace and Mercy” Banquet honors Dr. King’s legacy through truth, unity, justice, reflection, and community. MLK Dayton’s 2027 Interfaith Breakfast “Grace and Mercy” Join us for one of Dayton’s most meaningful mornings of unity, reflection, and community spirit as we gather for the Martin Luther King Jr. Interfaith Breakfast. Each year, MLK Dayton, Inc. brings together faith leaders, community advocates, educators, and citizens from all walks of life to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through prayer, conversation, and shared commitment to justice. The 2027 theme — “Grace and Mercy”— calls each of us to look deeply at the truths that define our nation and the responsibilities we share in building a more honest, compassionate, and equitable society. In alignment with this powerful message, this year’s breakfast will feature a dynamic keynote address from a distinguished guest speaker who will challenge us to confront the difficult truths of our history, celebrate the progress we’ve made, and commit to the unfinished work of unity and equality. Guests will experience an uplifting morning of fellowship filled with heartfelt music, a delicious breakfast, and moments of inspiration that renew our dedication to the dream of Dr. King. Community leaders and faith representatives will share reflections and readings that emphasize truth-telling, reconciliation, and hope for the future of our city and nation. This event serves not only as celebration of Dr. King’s vision but also as a call to action—a reminder that truth is the foundation upon which freedom and justice are built. Together, we will honor those who have walked before us and empower a new generation to speak truth with courage and compassion.
