Breakfast with the Director - Dr. Matt Richardson, FACHE

Please join us for this next exciting event in our breakfast event series! Dr. Matt Richardson, FACHE was appointed as Health Director for Denton County in 2014. He previously served as Director with the City of Amarillo for 9 years. He has authored peer-reviewed publications, testified to the Texas Legislature regarding public health issues, and advocates for public health practice in Denton County and the state of Texas. Dr. Richardson is a past president of the Texas Association of City and County Health Officials and a former board member of the National Board of Public Health Examiners. He has been a Council on Education in Public Health (CEPH) accreditation site reviewer since 2013 and is an expert in accreditation efforts--from national public health university programs to individual credentials and certifications. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Abilene Christian University and both master’s and doctoral degrees in Public Health from UNTHealth.
