Join us for this low-key but high value morning meetup with Dr. Melissa Hunter. This low-key morning meetup is designed to make a big impact on your business tool-kit. Each session is unique, reflecting the expertise of our mentors and the needs of attendees. What do you do to ensure your mental health is in good standing while doing what you do? What does burnout look like you to you and what do you do when you find yourself depleted? We will learn to recognize the signs of burnout before we are on 'E' and explore ways to fill our cup up while managing our business. How do we balance everything effectively? We'll talk about burnout, boundaries, and being present. About Dr. Melissa Hunter: Dr. Melissa Hunter is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor (LMFT-S) in Texas and an LMFT in Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor with a bachelor’s degree in religion with a minor in psychology, received a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Truett Seminary at Baylor University, and has a Ph.D. in Family Therapy from Texas Woman’s University. She brings a history of experience working in the church where she did pastoral counseling, premarital counseling, and led parenting, singles, and couple’s classes. She has worked with all ages ranging from preschool to senior adults. Melissa has led parenting workshops for schools, been a guest lecturer for college courses, and led retreats. She also specializes in discernment counseling, a process for helping couples make a more informed decision about whether they want to work on the relationship or end the relationship. In addition, her background as a hospice chaplain has familiarized her with the challenges that come with bereavement, grief, and loss in a variety of different family situations. Melissa is a clinical fellow with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and a member of the Texas Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (TAMFT). She is also a certified facilitator of the premarital assessment and training program, Prepare/Enrich and Gottman Level 1 trained.
