REGISTER ASAP! The LOVE FREE Sunday Dinner Series is a national initiative led by LIVE FREE USA under the leadership of Pastor Michael McBride. Rooted in the longstanding tradition of Sunday dinner in the Black community, this initiative creates space for people to gather around the table, strengthen relationships, engage in meaningful conversation, and build community. What is the Sunday Dinner? For generations, Sunday dinner has been more than a meal in the Black community. It has been a place for families and communities to gather, exchange information, support one another, and stay connected. During the Civil Rights Movement, Sunday gatherings after church also became important spaces for organizing, building trust, and preparing for the work ahead. The LOVE FREE Sunday Dinner carries this tradition forward through a free community meal and an intentional space for connection, conversation, healing, and civic engagement.
