Recovery Workshop: ROCC STARS UNITE In Person Event- Denton County

Mental Health Recovery In Person Seminar for those with or without personal mental health experiences, those concerned for loved ones. What exactly is it? ROCC STAR is more than a workshop,it’s a welcoming, community-centered space for honest conversations, shared experiences, practical resources, and hope. Led by peers with lived experience, the workshop brings together education, personal stories, and meaningful conversations around recovery, healing, and wellness. Participants will have an opportunity to learn from one another, explore what recovery can look like, and leave with tools, resources, and encouragement they can carry with them. Who is it for? ROCC STAR is for anyone who believes in the power of recovery and community. This includes individuals navigating their own recovery journey, family members and caregivers supporting someone they love, mental health and behavioral health professionals, advocates, and community members who want to learn and better understand the recovery experience. You don’t have to identify as being in recovery to belong in the conversation. Whether you’re seeking support, supporting someone else, or simply want to learn, there is a place for you at the table. Because recovery doesn’t happen in isolation, it happens in the community.
