We are excited to invite you to our upcoming gathering, which serves as a foundational step in building a community that supports and connects professionals across the Interior Design, Architecture, Construction, and Planning, Real Estate industries. Founded by Courtney Okoye of Homebody Creative Kids, Black Women Building Detroit aims to bring together women from these interconnected fields. While our industries regularly collaborate to shape our cities, it remains uncommon for Black women within these professions to have intentional, cross-disciplinary spaces to connect.
